IN SPITE OF MYSELF is a one-woman show, written and performed by Antoinette LaVecchia, that examines the hysterical and universal struggles between an immigrant Italian mother and her Americanized daughter.
Most recently, Antoinette performed IN SPITE OF MYSELF to a sold-out house in Los Angeles for The Collective's fundraiser, the west coast alumni group of Tisch's Graduate Acting program dedicated to developing new works in film, television and theatre. Antoinette also had a critically acclaimed showcase production of the piece at Urban Stages in New York. IN SPITE OF MYSELF was invited to be part of The Culture Project's Women Center Stage Festival and the Midtown International Theatre Festival. |
